Painting With Watercolors--
Once a week in 4 Week Sessions
Classes for beginners or for those who want to refresh or strengthen their skills in a supportive, encouraging environment. Learn/review the basics and more, mixing paint and water for a dynamic interaction. Demonstrations and step-by-step instructions and exercises. You will learn to glaze, lay a wash, paint wet-on-wet, mask, understand values, terminology, drawing skills, composition, pigments, and more. Emphasis is on the use and feel of materials and the spontaneity of watercolor. Helpful (but not required) to have some experience with watercolors. Material list will be provided at sign-up.
